Here’s How we’re Smashing our 2020 Resolutions 

We’re well into the second month of the year and very soon, we’ll be in the third month. A New Year’s tradition that has been observed by people all over the world is making resolutions. Many people see a new year as a fresh start, and they make resolutions for every new year. 

Resolutions range from habits to drop or pick up, to other things like making more money or getting a new job. Different people have different new year resolutions based on what their life is like at the end of the preceding year. 

The Kiitec.com team is made of amazing people who also made resolutions at the beginning of 2020, like any other person. In this article, we’ll be keeping up with the team members and their New Year resolutions:

Yemi, Business Development Team Lead

One of Yemi’s goals for the year was to start gyming and keep fit. This sounds like the most cliché resolution, doesn’t it? In fact, more than 70% of the people who add going to the gym to their resolutions never stick to it. 

Yemi has turned out to be a part of the minority, however, as he has been able to commit to gyming regularly. Go Yemi! He never ceases to flex his muscles in the office now, though. *eye roll*

Praise, Business Developer

Praise had a long list of resolutions on the first day of the year. At the top of the list was, “I’ll try to eat out less this year”. She has been smashing that goal, as she has almost stopped ordering food completely, opting instead to bring food from home. 

Oyinda, Marketing Team Lead 

At the start of the year, Oyinda wanted to rediscover her love for reading. Her Goodreads goal was to read 50 books in 2020, and her goal for January was to read a measly 5 books. Amazingly, she surpassed and smashed her goals for January by reading 15 full-length novels. She’s currently on her 24th book of the year. Go girl! 

We’re not all perfect goal smashers, though. One other resolution Oyinda had was to spend less money on mobile data subscriptions, but she hasn’t been super successful at it. Yemi also resolved to save more this year, but that hasn’t been going too well. You win some, you lose some, right?
